Communication
We are permanently connected to the internet so that you may contact us by e-mail and Skype as well as by fax and phone connected to an answering machine in case we cannot answer at a given moment. It is important that the receipt confirmation tool for e-mails be used to ensure that both parties have received communication and that the job has not been mislaid.

Safety
All your translation jobs are dealt with under the strictest and most absolute secrecy and will never be used for any other means other than for their primarily purpose.

Translation costs
We charge for the translated word in order to avoid unpleasant surprises that usually occur whenever charging on the number of pages that are variable in size and density. We do not apply our prices over the translated text that many times is significantly bigger than the original text. We charge for your original text that allows you to estimate how much your translation job will cost you, by using the MS-Word counting tool or MetaTexis and Trados for other sorts of programs such as Power Point, AutoCAD, etc.

Prices
Word counting is accomplished by using the entire original text even if it already contains any word in the language to be translated to. In order to do this, it will be necessary to send us the original document through e-mail to BlakeneyTranslations@terra.com.br. If your document is a paper document it will be charged with an extra 15% to allow for transforming it into “Word” which will be the format of the end product you will be receiving.
Translations will be delivered by e-mail when finished unless you require partial deliveries as the job gets done. In this case there will an extra charge to be agreed upon when closing the order. We can also let you have your translation on CD or plain paper by registered mail that will be charged when you receive it. An important factor when determining the translation cost is the quality of the text found in the original document, and for this reason we can only give you a quote if we have the original document in hands for its assessment. However, we can let you have a general idea of cost per word, beforehand. For each job our quotations are based on the type of file forwarded (Word, PDF, Excel, Power Point, AutoCAD, Visio, etc.) there is, however, a minimum cost per job if it is equal or smaller than 350 words.

Flexibility
We strive to meet our customer’s requirements working overtime whenever necessary as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays without any extra charges. All your jobs are extremely important to us, no matter the size, formatting or complexity.

Accuracy
Our associates speak fluently the languages proposed, which avoids imperfections and omissions as well as interpreting errors to your translations.

Punctuality
We work according to our customers’ needs, meeting their deadlines and not compromising with delivery times that can not be met.

Speed
As a rule, only one translator will be working on your project and after the translation stage it will be submitted to a reviewer. For this reason all non-urgent translations with a standard price quote will require at least 2 days time for delivery. For larger projects we can guarantee to deliver an average of 2,500 words per day. Larger deliveries are possible for regular customers where the subjects to be translated are familiar to us and requested on regular basis. For files such as PDF, additional work may be required and this naturally requires extra time. There is also the fact that texts can not be modified in pictures and therefore the translation will be placed beside de image.

Quality
We offer translations that make sense to addressee transmitting the author’s intentions without changing the original contents however, the original text must be a good quality one. Reading must be easy and friendly in a natural style. The goal is to help the reader to understand your text without waste of time and strain in order to safeguard your company’s image.
